Nicolas Jean-de-Dieu Soult was one of the most distinguished military commanders in French history — one of only six officers ever awarded the title of Marshal General of France.
In Evony, Soult is an Epic Historic General who specializes in leading ground troops (infantry), making him a cornerstone of any infantry-focused strategy.
Historical Highlights
Battle of Ulm (1805): Led the IV Corps to cut off Austrian supply lines, completing the encirclement that forced an entire Austrian army to surrender — 25,000 men, 18 generals, 65 cannons, and 40 standards.
Battle of Austerlitz: Commanded the decisive assault on the Pratzen Heights, breaking through the weakened Allied center and enabling the French to overwhelm both enemy flanks.

Specialties

Covenant & General Hall
Soult himself has no Covenant function, but he serves as the Covenant General for Napoleon (Prime) and Suchet.
Soult is not available in the General Hall.
How to Obtain Soult
1. Tavern
Soult has a chance to appear in the Tavern for 60,000,000 Gold. Spend Gems to refresh the general lineup.
2. Epic General Token
Use Epic General Tokens for a chance to receive Soult. Tokens can be obtained through:
Champion Loyalty Rewards — Each Champion awards 1 General Token Chest at loyalty levels 4–7 and 2 chests at levels 8–10, which may yield either an Epic or Legendary General Token.
Alliance Competition — Novice League players reaching 2,300 points get 1 chest; Junior League players reaching 2,750 points get 2 chests.
3. Epic Historic General Token (Recommended)
Slightly higher odds of obtaining Soult than the standard Epic Token. Sources include:
Gather Troops Event — Reach progress level 70 to claim 1 token (plus 20 Skill Book Pages, 90 Dragon Crystals, and 500 Refining Stones).
Feasting Revelry Event — Purchase a Super Delicacy Set Package.
Alliance Competition — Elite League players reaching 3,200 points get 1 token; Epic League players reaching 1,550 points get 1 token.
4. Advanced General Token
Extremely rare. Historically, it has appeared only in the Wheel of Fortune event, and even then, the token is rarely in the prize pool — not a reliable farming method.
